PKNU selected as the supporting organization for the 'Neulbom school customized program for first-graders'

- consortium with education companies, Busan national university of education, and Silla university… business operation for Busan, Ulsan, Daegu, and Gyeongsang region

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) announced that it had been selected as a support organization for the 'Neulbom school customized program culture and arts education operation support project for first-year elementary school students'.

The Ministry of education, 17 metropolitan and provincial offices of education, Korea science and engineering foundation, and Korea arts & culture education service (KACES) will provide support for school adaptation and arts and physical education activity programs for first-grade elementary school students as Neulbom school is fully expanded starting this year.

Pukyong National University was selected as the operating institution in the Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk regions in this contest to select operating institutions by dividing the country by region, and will operate the project this year with a project cost of 400 million won.

As this project is launched, Pukyong National University formed a consortium with educational institutions such as Sangsangharu co., ltd. and Tedu-education under the supervision of the Pukyong National University support center for educational donation (director Lee Sang-Gil) and plans to operate more than 20 Neulbom School education programs targeting 30 elementary schools in the Gyeongsang region cooperating with the department of education at Busan national university of education and the department of education at Silla university.

By actively utilizing the excellent personnel and program operation know-how of the Pukyong National University teaching and learning support center, this project plans to contribute to the establishment of a special educational development zone in the Gyeongsang region by not only monitoring and analyzing the performance of various Neulbom programs, but also linking teachers and college students from universities in the southeastern region to participate in Neulbom school educational programs.
