Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) has announced that students have engaged in volunteer activities to decorate the campus walls facing the campus town with murals themselves.

Students from the mural club 'Jeolyeonghoe' and the art club 'Nabul atelier' at Pukyong National University drew and colored murals on a 40-meter-long wall next to Paradise caf? over two days on April 6th and 7th.

Located adjacent to the north gate of the campus, this wall connects Baekyong street, a symbolic space within the campus, to the campus town, serving as a frequented pathway for both Pukyong National University students and local residents.

Pukyong National University students filled this wall with various elements, including local landmarks like Gwangan bridge, as well as the university's iconic characters, Baekyongee and Ppugongee and the centennial emblem, aiming to transform it into a friendly space for both students and neighbors.

This initiative was carried out through collaboration between the mural club 'Jeolyeonghoe', known for its volunteer mural painting activities across various locations in Busan, and the art club 'Nabul atelier'. Pukyong National University provided support to the students by offering preliminary preparation for the wall and supplying necessary materials and tools for the activity.

Following the mural decoration of the wall near the rear gate of the Yongdang Campus, a popular walking spot for local residents, conducted in September last year, Pukyong National University plans to further strengthen communication between the university and the local community through activities like mural painting. <Pukyong Today>
