Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) held the August 2022 degree conferment ceremony online and offline at the university theater on the morning of August 26th.

Pukyong National University has a total of 1,242 degree recipients in August 2022, including 82 Ph.D. students, 250 masters, and 910 bachelors.

At the ceremony, students Kim Mi-Ji (department of applied mathematics) received the President's Award and Song Jin-Beom (department of mechanical and shipbuilding convergence engineering) received the president award from the alumni association for outstanding undergraduate grades at the event.

Pukyong University also held an event to take a commemorative photo with a large masked doll of the university mascot 'Baekyong(ee)' in the shape of a sperm whale so that graduates could build memories on campus.

President Jang Young-Soo emphasized at the graduation ceremony that day, saying, "I am so proud and proud of all of you who have earned an honorable degree," he added, "Sometimes the reality that lies ahead of you may be grim and difficult, but don't underestimate the things you've accomplished so far. You've already made things a lot."

He continued, "I wish you enjoy an indefinite fear of a new start and experience the amazing experience of discovering yourself in another way", and "I hope that each step you take will lead to love not only for yourself, but also for your neighbors and regions, your country and the world." <Pukyong Today>
