PKNU obtained the ‘highest grade’ in the Campus Asia Korea-Japan-China expansion business evaluation

- the result of the annual evaluation for 2022 is ‘A’ overall

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) recently announced that it had obtained the highest grade of ‘comprehensive A’ as a result of the annual evaluation of the Campus Asia Korea-Japan-China expansion business in 2022.

 

The project is a representative student exchange project in the field of higher education of the Ministry of education and the Korean council for university education, which promotes mutual understanding and exchanges between universities by activating joint and dual degree program among universities in Korea, Japan, and China.

 

Pukyong National University runs this business under the supervision of the AFIMA (Asia fisheries and marine environment) leaders program (director Jang Ho-Geun), which is a Korea-Japan-China expansion project for Campus-Asia, and has been striving to strengthen cooperation between countries and foster professional talents for joint management of fishery resources and marine environment in East Asian waters, focusing on the major of the marine and fisheries business and economics.

 

In particular, the project group was recognized for its outstanding achievements, such as establishing a smooth communication system with participating universities from Korea, Japan, and China, and exchanging students using various platforms such as online summer school (joint international programs).

 

Pukyong National University, which is receiving 600 million won from 2021 to 2026 for this project, will receive additional project expenses as an incentive according to the results of this annual evaluation.

Accordingly, Pukyong National University has been carrying out active academic exchanges with Nagasaki university in Japan and the Ocean university of China, and plans to expand cooperation with university Malaysia Terengganu. <Pukyong Today>
