The rapid change of environmental a effects on international economic activities such as the appearance of WTO and e-Commerce has required a change in the characteristics of studies that deal with international economic relationships. The Division of International Commerce aims to nurture professional international commerce intellectuals to meet this new environment by expanding and reorganizing the existing major of trade.
Our division has 3 majors, namely Major of International Commerce, Major of International Trade and Logistics and Major of International Business Administration we have an excellent teaching staff to provide a high quality of education. We also run study exchanges with well-known foreign universities, and host exchange students and staff. In addition, we offer a multi-degree system.

Introduction of Major

  • Major of International Commerce : It teaches and researches the theory of international commerce and practical management techniques to maintain enterprise, industry and economy with sufficient international competitiveness to prosper in the rapidly changing international marketplace.
  • Major of International Trade and Logistic : It structurally studies delivery, storage, load, packing, information and supply problems of materials to boost trade and improve international competitiveness within the Global Market. It aims to contribute to human welfare as well as Korean economic development through continuous growth of the international logistic industry by nurturing international logistic intellectuals who can plan and manage logistic problems directly.
  • Major of International Business Administration : This is an area which deals with strategic decision-making related to the global activities of enterprise, and we aim to educate students on the theory and practice of the global enterprise environment, global management control, global management strategy, functional management and strategy and relationships between countries. This major also focuses not only on the profit and non-profit organizations that comprise international management activities, but also on the education of the core abilities that are needed in order to enter various international organizations that deal with such aspects as international markets research, regional research of major markets like China, international business culture and business communication.

Possible Career After Graduation

Graduate can act as international trade professionals of graduate school, government bodies, public and private enterprises, international economic organizations, logistic professionals at domestic and international research centers related to international logistics, and also can be employed in international enterprise industry or open an internet trading business.
