It is a seamen's pocket ledger of an alumni of Pukyong National University, Shin mu-hyun (76 years old, Class of '60, fisheries department).

Starting from the stamp of the day when he left the university for the voyage

As a second mate, as a first mate, as a captain, as an expatriate…

It is a sailor 's handbook with his footprint stamped all over the world in a challenging way.

It is the treasure which the old alumni kept in his room for a lifetime.

One day in the past summer,

76 years old in this year, when he decided to immigrate to the United States where his daughters lived,

When he took out his notebook while he packed luggage for migrations,

It is a sailor 's handbook that reminds him of his old school that he had forgotten.

- It was my alma mater where I could learn everything I needed for my life…
- I was able to live this long life with the learning there…

This is a sailor's handbook that made him confess to his alma mater without hesitation.
(How warm is the man who makes such a confession!)

- I will pay back a little bit of the debt before I leave it alone…

It is the sailor's handbook which brought him up and brought him to visit the school from Seoul to Busan.

He took out a check for 20 million won and donated it to his alma mater,

he would like to write a scholarship for the younger students

without leaving his phone number, he went out of the entrance,

even he gave his sailor 's handbook, which has his own life, back to his alma mater,

It is the sailor's handbook that makes us miss it so much in such early autumn.
