Pukyong National University Industry-University Foundation (CEO Seo Yong-cheol) held the Dragon Valley's signal unveiling ceremony at the modern roundabout in front of Yongdang Campus Engineering Library building on October 29.

The Pukyong National University Industry-University Foundation produced and installed a large-size sign in the form of “DRAGON VALLEY” in order to actively announce the New Industry-University cooperation and Start-up platform, Dragon Valley, which was established at Yongdang Campus.

Pukyong Natioanl University Dragon Valley is a name that reflects the will of growing a world-class company like Silicon Valley in the United States. In the name of 'Youngdang-dong', where the Pyongyang Natioanl University's Yongdang Campus is located, it means home to big companies like 'Dragon' who think about and fly to the sky.

The Dragon Valley, which was opened by the Pukyong National University and opened the Yongdang Campus in its entirety, currently employs more than 1,500 employees with 300 companies. Dragon Valley tenants are engaged in research and technology development by utilizing the industry-University cooperation infrastructure of Pukyong National University and collaborating with the LINC+ Project, the Industry-University Cooperation Complex Development Project (URP+), and the Startup Support Group.

Seo Yong-cheol, head of Pukyong National University, said, “Pukyong National University has been selected as the industry-university cooperation college development project and the university-industrial cooperation park development project. We will concentrate on the capacity of the university and actively support the growth of Dragon Valley residents.” <Pukyong Today>
