Pukyong National University holds the 2019 LINC+ Industry-University Cooperation Fair This event is the sum of last year's results of Pukyong National University's LINC+ Project, a socially-oriented university-led university development project and it is designed to strengthen the foundation of industry-university cooperation by sharing the results with local communities and companies. At the event, which was held on both the 30th and 31st, the project team was attended by students, teachers, and corporate officials, including △ Capstone Design Contest, △ Community Innovation Project Performance Contest, △ Project Lab Performance Presentation, and △and the 8th meeting place for family company and △meetings for employment and start-ups were conducted. At the Capstone Design Contest, students in the Capstone Design curriculum presented more than 60 works and selected outstanding works. As a result of the operation of the capstone design curriculum to raise students' creative ideas and design skills, the project team of Pukyong National University received the first prize at the Busan LINC+ Union Capstone Design Contest last year. The contest of the Community Innovation Project Outcomes showed about 30 projects that the Pukyong National University and local community organizations collaborated on to solve community problems and shared excellence. Last year, the project team have worked to solve community problems by developing corporate and functional clothing through community projects and donating them to welfare institutions, partnered with the Marine Environment Research & Training Institute (KOEM) to provide marine learning programs to multicultural families, and donated engineering education to vocational rehabilitation facilities. At the same time, the project team presented the project lab achievements that were carried out to improve entrepreneurship at the event and presented the excellence. In addition, the company exhibited and presented research achievements and awards in collaboration with family companies and exhibited outstanding works and excellent start-up clubs. Meanwhile, Pukyong National University has been selected as the second phase of the LINC+ project last year and is promoting various projects to strengthen industry-university cooperation. <Pukyong Today>
