Pukyong National University provides special treatment for international students with sef-observation Pukyong National University announced on February 11th that it has entered into special management of international students who are self-observing in off-campus residences for special reasons among students who had visited or passed through China. Pukyong National University dispatches a task force consisting of three nurses, Chinese interpreters, and administrative staff twice a day to students' off-campus residences who have visited or transited China. Therefore, the university thoroughly can check the student's health status such as compliance with the quarantine and fever check, and respond thoroughly to prevent infection into the community. In addition, Pukyong National University provides dormitories for single occupancy if international students come to school, the foreign students who have visited or came to Korea via China. A dedicated nutritionist offers individual lunches prepared with local Chinese food. Pukyong National University hired a dedicated nurse to check fever and health status twice a day, and said that the university is doing its best to prepare and implement infection prevention measures to protect students' health and community safety from the new coronavirus. <Pukyong Today> |
