PKNU received the ‘best and excellent’ award in the video contest of the school-to-work bridge curriculum.

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) announced that students Kwon Beom-Soo from the Department of Ocean Engineering and Hwang In-Young from the Department of Marine Sports won the best and excellence prizes, respectively, at the National Research Foundation of Korea's video contest 2022 of the Industry-University Linked Curriculum.
They received awards for their excellent performance at the LINC 3.0 Industry-University Linked Curriculum Video Content contest, which was held together with the 2022 Industry-University Cooperation Expo held at the convention center in Suwon from November 2nd to 4th.
This contest is a contest about video content for students who have completed university-industry linked training courses such as field practice at 76 universities across the country that are carrying out the LINC 3.0 project, including Pukyong National University.
In this contest held under the theme of ‘participation (completion) of industry-university linked curriculum and experiences on achievements’, Kwon Beom-Soo, a student from Pukyong National University won a 1 million won cash prize for industry-university cooperation with a video produced from his field practice experience at a company, Pukyong marine technology, and received the chairman's award for excellence from the foundation.
He received good reviews from the evaluation team for emphasizing that he had various experiences related to his major by participating in submarine cable experiments and that he had greatly expanded his scope of thinking by receiving advice from experts active in the field.
Along with this, Hwang In-Young, one of the other winners, received the excellence award, the chairman's award from the National Research Foundation of Korea, with a fifty thousand won cash prize for a video produced based on her experience of field training at the YMCA Seoul.
Pukyong National University was selected as a partner of LINC 3.0 project by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea this year and is striving to build an innovative ecosystem through industry-university-research cooperation and training future talent in new industries and new technologies. <Pukyong Today>
