PKNU held the summer fishery school 2023 for local middle school students

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) held the 'Fisheries science college summer fishery school 2023' on July 25 with the participation of 70 middle school students from the Busan region who started their summer vacation in the international conference room at the college of fisheries science.

The event, hosted by Pukyong National University college of fisheries science (dean Park Won-Gyu), is an educational program that provides opportunities to experience fisheries science by opening educational facilities, including classrooms and laboratories, to local youth.

The students who participated in the program on this day joined a hands-on program on the exploration and use of marine invertebrates, understanding of processed fish products and practice of making fish cakes, understanding the ecosystem, and making their own ecospheres, and observation and use of various seafood from instructors composed of students at Pukyong National University.

Pukyong National University has been running a fishery school program every summer vacation for 24 years since 1999, and the university was certified as an excellent educational donation institution by the Ministry of Education last year. <Pukyong Today>
