PKNU provides a differentiated liberal arts lecture through 'recommendation posting system' with a' certified liberal arts accreditation system'
- operating certification system on liberal arts lecture and recommendation contest for liberal arts lecture contest for juniors

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) draws attention from students by differentiating education, such as implementing the 'certification system on liberal arts lecture' to provide high-quality liberal arts lectures to students.
The 'accreditation system for liberal arts subjects', which Pukyong National University has been piloting since last month, is a system to help students choose lectures and improve the quality of education by evaluating liberal arts subjects through accreditation standards established by the university itself and granting certification.
The university evaluates whether the lectures are well-connected with the core competencies required by Pukyong National University and whether the professor uses innovative teaching methods, and if the score is 60 or more, 'standard' is marked, and if the score is 80 or more, 'certified excellent lecture' is marked by the university. Students can check this certification mark when registering for courses.
Pukyong National University started with a general accreditation for 17 subjects (187 subclasses) and a certification for excellence in 4 subjects (8 subclasses) through a pilot operation last month, and completed standard certifications of all required liberal arts subjects this month. Following that, Pukyong National University plans to provide certification support programs, such as class consulting, so that a total of 241 liberal arts subjects (758 subclasses) can acquire general accreditation or higher by 2026.
Along with this, Pukyong National University created the 'open contest for liberal arts courses recommended for juniors' so that many students can take excellent liberal arts lectures and announced the results on the 9th on the undergraduate college website.
This contest was conducted in a way that students selected a course they would most like to recommend to their juniors among the liberal arts courses they took during the second semester of last year and the first semester of this year, then produced and submitted a video introducing it.
The student who received the first prize was honored with the award for recommending liberal arts subjects such as 'child development and education', and the second prize for 'nutrition and health' and 'reason and expression'.
Pukyong National University plans to continue to expand various policies and programs, such as certification systems and contests, to provide high-quality liberal arts lectures to students and to expand students' participation in the curriculum. <Pukyong Today>
