PKNU students win the grand prize at the Busan new media content

- Yang Eun-Hye, Shin Se-Bin, Park Ga-Eun, Choi Ha-Young with a video work, 'Busan is good, the city of ㅇㅇ!'

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) announced that the student team of Yang Eun-Hye (4th year student), Shin Se-Bin (4th year), Park Ga-Eun (3rd year), and Choi Ha-Young (3rd year) from the department of Korean language and literature had won the grand prize in the 'Busan new media content'.

In this contest recently held by Busan metropolitan city with a total prize of 9 million won to expand the base of citizen communication and new media culture, the team won the grand prize of 3 million won cash prize with a video work 'Busan is good, the city of ㅇㅇ!'.

This 3-minute video was evaluated as the best work among the participating works, as it was composed and edited to convey the charm of Busan as a global hub city under the theme of 'Busan is good, the city of coffee', 'Busan is good, the city of movies', and 'Busan is good, the city of 15 minutes'.

In this video, Pukyong National University students visited and introduced Busanjin Station, which was transformed into the international coffee museum, a caf？ in Yeongdo that won the world barista competition, the Busan cinema center in Haeundae, and Gadeokdo island.

In addition, they were recognized for their competency and creativity in video production by showing people using Dongbaek pass, Busan's integrated public transportation discount system, and capturing the slogan 'Busan is good' in the voices of foreign students studying at Pukyong National University.
