Pukyong National University Tops Comprehensive Integrity Rankings Among National and Public Universities
- Only Institution Among 16 National and Public Universities to Receive a Top “Grade 1” in the Anti-Corruption & Civil Rights Commission’s Integrity Assessment

Pukyong National University (President Bae Sang-Hoon) ranked 1st in the comprehensive integrity evaluation among 16 national and public universities nationwide.
According to the 2025 Public Institution Comprehensive Integrity Assessment announced by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission on December 23, Pukyong National University was the only national and public university in the country to receive the top “Integrity Grade 1”.
Excluding 2024―when national and public university evaluations were not conducted―Pukyong National University has continuously received the highest Integrity Grade 1 following the 2022 and 2023 assessments, earning recognition for its strong commitment to fostering an ethical campus culture and expanding institutional integrity efforts.
The university achieved excellent results across all evaluation categories, including perceived integrity levels measured through surveys of external partners and internal members, institution-wide integrity improvement initiatives, anti-corruption practices and conditions, corruption status and risk monitoring.
In particular, the university solely achieved the top “Integrity Grade 1” in key domains, including contract and procurement, as well as research, academic operations, and administrative integrity perception, demonstrating the highest performance level across major assessment areas.
Meanwhile, the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission conducted the 2025 Comprehensive Integrity Assessment across 709 public institutions nationwide, applying a separate evaluation model exclusively to 16 national and public universities with an annual freshman enrollment quota of 2,500 students or more. <Pukyong Today>
