Pukyong National University Selects 33 Recipients for the Outstanding Master’s Scholarship in Science and Engineering

- KRW 2.5 million provided per semester

A total of 33 master’s students at Pukyong National University (President Bae Sang-Hoon) have been selected as recipients of the 2025 Outstanding Master’s Scholarship in Science and Engineering.

The Outstanding Master’s Scholarship Program is jointly administered by the Korea Student Aid Foundation and the Ministry of Science and ICT, and is designed to attract outstanding talent to science and engineering fields while strengthening the national foundation for scientific and technological excellence by providing financial support to master’s level students.

According to the selection results announced in late December, Pukyong National University achieved notable success, with 33 students ultimately selected through a comprehensive evaluation process that considered academic performance, research capability, and academic and research plans.

Recipients of the Outstanding Master’s Scholarship are eligible to receive KRW 2.5 million per semester for up to four semesters (or one semester for the one-time support track). The scholarship is provided as living expense support and may be combined with other scholarships or R&D participation stipends, without restriction.

Meanwhile, Pukyong National University continues to strengthen its graduate education and reinforce its standing as a research-focused university by expanding scholarship support―not only through government-funded programs, but also by offering full scholarships for combined bachelor’s？master’s programs and integrated bachelor’s？master’s？doctoral tracks.
