Pukyong National University Receives the Highest “Excellent” Rating in the Performance Evaluation of Its University Job Plus Center

Pukyong National University (President Bae Sang-Hoon) has received the highest “Excellent” rating in the 2025 Annual Performance Evaluation of the University Job Plus Center Program (Customized Employment Services for Enrolled Students) conducted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

The University Job Plus Center Program is a national initiative jointly implemented by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and local governments. It aims to establish an integrated delivery system that links career guidance and employment support functions and infrastructure within universities, while strengthening youth-focused employment services to enhance job placement outcomes.

The University Job Plus Center at Pukyong National University (Director Kim Cheol-Su) earned high recognition in this year’s evaluation for its strong performance in providing customized employment support programs tailored to local youth needs.

In particular, the “PKNU DREAM JOB FAIR,” a large-scale employment fair featuring participation from 57 companies, was highly praised for delivering practical and effective employment support services tailored to local youth.

In addition, the university reorganized its career and employment co-curricular programs into structured tracks (series) aligned with students’ individual competency levels, refining programs by stage and type. It also established a data-driven analysis system that examines recruitment companies and successful candidates, enhancing matching accuracy between employers and job seekers and creating a systematic framework aimed at improving overall employment success rates.

In parallel, the university successfully enhanced both student participation and satisfaction through its Customized Employment Services for Enrolled Students, which provide stage-by-stage, personalized employment support from admission through graduation, offering students a wide range of work and experiential learning opportunities.

Building on the employment support infrastructure and service expertise developed through its University Job Plus Center, which has been in operation since 2018, Pukyong National University plans to continue strengthening and expanding these efforts to further maximize program outcomes and employment support performance in the years ahead. <Pukyong Today>
