PKNU held a ceremony for Feb.2023 graduation

- 3,011 students graduated on 17th at campus theater

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) held the commencement ceremony of February 2023 at the campus theater in the February 17th morning.

Pukyong National University has a total of 3,011 students graduating in February 2023, including 108 doctorate candidates, 400 master's candidates, and 2,503 bachelors.

At the ceremony, which was held both online and offline, student Jeong Seong-Yoon (Dept. of chemistry) received the president's award and Kim Min-Wook (Dept. of aquatic life medicine) received the chairman award from the alumni association for outstanding undergraduate grades.

Prior to the graduation ceremony, Pukyong National University provided gown rental service for each department from February 13, and installed photo zones throughout the campus to take graduation photos so that graduates could leave memories at the same time.

President Jang Young-Soo emphasized at the graduation ceremony that day, saying, “Now we are facing an era of great transformation. As the industrial crisis and digital transformation due to global hegemonic race become commonplace, I believe that the key to separating winners and losers will be the gap in talent and technology.”

He encouraged, “The motive power of our university's growth is not anything else, but excellent human resources like you and globally recognized research achievements,” he added, “I hope that our students will cross the boundaries of all fields and freely travel around the world in the future, like Baek-kyung, who symbolizes us, a talented person in the high-tech field who opens a bright future with a strong and promising spirit.” <Pukyong Today>
