PKNU conferred an honorary doctorate degree on Seo Yeong-Ok, ceo of Fine technology

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) held a commencement ceremony in the conference room on the 2nd floor of the administration building on the morning of May 9 and conferred an honorary doctorate degree in business administration to Seo Young-Ok (age 68), ceo of Fine technology.

Ms. Seo received this degree for her contributions to the development of the national economy and the creation of an advanced management culture through win-win management and dedicated social contribution activities, growing a global representative company equipped with unrivaled technological power in the field of industrial special tapes and playing an active role in the global market.

Starting with the founding of Union chemicals in 1987, Ms. Seo has been active as the best global representative in this field with expertise and core technology in the field of industrial semiconductor tapes, since the establishment of Fine technology in 1998, she has been leading Korea's economic development, winning 10-million-dollar export tower award for her contributions to the global market.

As the leader of the first-generation venture myth that started as a one-person startup and created a company that is active in the world, she is recognized as an opinion leader who leads the local community through her efforts for win-win development with numerous venture companies and dedicated social contribution activities.

As a rare female engineer in the field of chemical engineering, she is currently leading the growth and development of female entrepreneurs by passing on her hard work, business management philosophy, and know-how to acquire innovative technology and expertise.
