PKNU received grand prize at K7U-belt startup idea contest

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) announced that students won the grand prize and encouragement prize at the 'K7U-belt startup idea contest 2023'.
This student team, consisting of Choi Min-Seok (4th year student in public administration), Nam Woo-Jin (4th year student in computer engineering), Lee Yoo-Jin (4th year student in visual design), and Yim Da-Jeong (4th year student in mass communication studies) from Pukyong National University, won the grand prize in this competition with 'your own travel guide filled with real stories from travelers ? let’s go'
This competition, held at Hanbat national university on November 22, was held by seven outstanding national universities in Korea, including Pukyong National University, Kumoh national institute of technology, Kunsan national university, Seoul national university of science and technology, Changwon national university, Korea national university of transportation, and Hanbat national university, to revitalize startup clubs and expand the startup community.
Seven participating universities selected two teams each through their own preliminary round, and a total of 14 teams competed in the finals on this day.
The idea of the Pukyong National University student team, which received excellent evaluation and won the grand prize, was a 'one-stop travel tech service' that provides comprehensive support for travel planning, reservations, and payments for travel destinations introduced in online travel reviews to solve the inconveniences consumers may experience during the travel process.
Next, the Pukyong National University student team of Kong Seong-Jin (master's course in intelligent robotics), Jeong Tae-Young (4th year student in information and communication engineering), Lee Myeong-Woo (2nd year student in information and communication engineering), Lee Dong-Gyun (2nd year student in information and communication engineering), Kim Seon-Woo (3rd year student in electrical engineering), Son Min-Seong (3rd year student in electrical engineering), and Ha Jae-Min (3rd year student in electrical engineering) received a participation award in this competition for their idea of 'unmanned delivery using self-driving robot'.
Ryu Ji-Yeol, director of the Pukyong National University LINC 3.0 (leaders in industry-university cooperation) project team, announced the plan as, "We plan to take this as an opportunity to form not only industry-academic cooperation but also a network of start-up clubs through coworking cooperation with K7U-Belt, an alliance of small but leading national universities in Korea, and to further expand support to revitalize excellent start-ups in connection with local governments." <Pukyong Today>
