Hanmir Building is a structure with sixteen stories above ground and one below. Its gross area is 15,928.69m2 The exterior of this building looks like a ship which went forward to the sea for sailing under the sea. It expresses the promising spirit to make the leap into the unknown for seeking the truth.

There are many rooms including laboratories, classrooms, gymnasium, convention centers, and seminar rooms. PKNU is making a business specialization town by having the corporation's laboratories. Also, it is cooperating with the industry by researching and developing together. In addition, they are providing on-site practical education. This cooperation between the universities and the corporations receive a favorable evaluation because it is possible for the professors, the students, and the members of the research institutes and the corporations to develop and research in the same laboratory around clock.

Best Place for Looking at Tsushima Island
If the weather is nice, anyone can see Tsushima Island with the naked eye which is one of the islands in Japan. Especially, Hanmir Building's parking lot is easily accessible to anyone who wants to see it. The distance to it is about 50km. It is comprised of 2 different islands. One is called Sangdo, and the other is called Hado. Both of them have also called Taema because they look as if two horses look at each other.

Sailing and Port Management Training Center
This center has the most advanced simulator for navigating and controlling ships to provide on-site practice-based on education for the students. Especially, the simulator for steeling the ship makes it possible to navigate ships and practice sailing in the nearly same natural condition by using the high 3D graphic techniques. It can be also possible to practice many kinds of the trainings which can be classified into the kinds of the ships such as a merchant ship, a fishing craft, a patrol ship, a guidance boat. In addition, it can help students to practice the port entry, leaving a port, dropping anchor, and coming alongside the pier.
Newton's Apple Tree
Newton's Apple Tree
There is a Newton's Apple Tree in front of the library. Newton discovered the law of gravity under the apple tree, and both of two apple trees belong to the same species. That is why the apple tree in Yongdang Campus is called Newton's apple tree. Newton's apple tree is in the only a few places including Yongdang Campus in PKNU, and Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science. This tree was planted in one of the orchards in March in 1990. Before being liberated from Japan's colonial rule, some Japanese students in Busan National University of Technology which is one of the forerunners of PKNU donated this tree. Many PKNU students have dreamt to be a significant figure in the history of science looking at Newton's apple tree in Yongdang Campus to return senior's favor.
Dul Rae Street
Dul Rae Street
It is a walk near the Yongdang Campus. The total distance is about 2km, and it takes around one hour to take a walk around campus along this walk. Anyone who takes a walk along this street can see Hanmir Building, Gwanggaeto Building, Engineering Building #5, Engineering Building #9, Equipment Management and Maintenance Center, Engineering Building #10, Athletic Field, North gate, Engineering Building #8, and College of Engineering. Especially, it is possible to look down at Busan Harbor from Gwanggaeto Building to Engineering Building #5. Anyone who takes a walk along this street can see Korea Express Busan Container Terminal because Dul Rae Street is closed to it called Shinseondae in the past.

This center was established to make it play a major role in promoting sea food processing industry as a higher value-added growing industry by managing the qualities of the products produced by many related corporations and developing many new products. This center handles inspecting the qualities of the produced sea foods and their safety. Also, it has education program including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) system.

Engineering Library is one of the birthplaces of learning in PKNU. There are general reading room on the first and the second floor, periodicals room on the third floor, and monographs room on the fourth and the fifth floor of this building. 2 reading rooms are open 24 hours a day during the exam period, but the reading room on the first floor is open 24 hours a day at ordinary times.

Center of Industry - University Cooperation
This center was selected as the best place for educating the foundation, and it received a commendation from the Prime Minister. Also, this center can be called the pivot of educating the foundation because it received the highest rating in the evaluation conducted by Small and Medium Business Administration and Busan Metropolitan Government three years in a row. In addition, it is the only place to be possible to expand its business in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongsangnam-do.
Cherry Blossom Tunnel
Cherry Blossom Tunnel
Cherry blossom tunnel is one of the most beautiful places in Yongdang Campus which is located from College of Engineering to North gate. There are many cherry blossoms on both sides of the street planted from 1940 to 1950. That is why it was called Cherry Blossom Tunnel. After the flowers fall off, it change green tunnel, and it is also a good place to take walk and be absorbed in meditation as well.
