Pukyong National University produced six successful applicants in the selective examination for the 7th grade probationer in 2019 conducted by Ministry of Personnel Management

Pukyong National University has posted six names on the list of successful candidates : administrative positions-Goh Eun-bi (Dept. of Korean, Student No.14), Kim Seon-woong (Dept. of Economic, Student No.12), Ryu Ha-jin (Dept. of International Commerce, Student No.12), Park Hye-soo (Dept. of Political Science and Diplomacy, Student No.12), Technical Post- Jeong Seong-won (Dept. of Metallurgical Engineering, Student No.12), Jeong Yu-gyeong (Dept. of Naval Architecture and Marine Systems Engineering, Student No. 10) announced at the Cyber National Examination Center

Of the 510 candidates recommended by 120 universities, 140 passed the final examination, which showed a competition rate of 3.6 to 1 in the selective examination for the 7th grade regional HR (Human resource) probation worker this year.

Pukyong National University, produced the largest number of successful applicants among the 13 universities in Busan this year, has turned out the largest number of successful candidates same as Busan National University (6 students) for four straight years since 2016.

The selective examination for the Grade 7 regional HR (Human resource) probation worker has been carrying out from 2005 to strengthen the local representative of the public office. Students will be selected by written test, paperwork, and interview after graduation (planned) within the top 10% of the department’s grade, which is recommended by the 4-year university president.

After passing the basic education of the National Human Resources Development Institue (NHI) in the first half of next year, the successful applicants will be appointed as a Grade 7 civil servant after a year of training in the central administrative organ and evaluation of work performance.
