PKNU held a signboard hanging ceremony with 'Steering group for the College of Medical Radiology' At the event, Kim Dong-joon, Vice President of Academic affairs, Jeong Dong-man, Assemblyman (Gijang-gun), Gu Kyung-min, Chairman of Busan Budget and Accounts Council, Hwang Woon-cheol, Council Chairman of Gijang-gun, Park Tae-hyun, Chairman of Development Committee of Jangan-eup, Nam Jeong-eun, manager of Clean Energy Industry Division of Busan etc., have attended including Kim Young-seop, the University president. The 'Steering Group' is an organization that is newly established to systematically promote the decision-making of related policies and the establishment of strategies, as Pukyong National University began the establishment of a College of Medical Radiology in the 'Southerneast Area Radiology Medical & Science Industrial Complex (hereinafter referred to as the Medical Science Complex)' in Jangan-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan. The Group includes Professor Kim Dong-joon, the Vice President of Academic Affairs, Professor Son Dong-woon as Vice-Chancellor and Executive Committee Chairman, Choi Jae-wook, the Vice President of Industry-University cooperation, Kim Chang-gyeong, the Dean of Student Affairs, Kim Chang-Su, Dean of Academic Affairs, Jeong Geun-joo, the Director of Planning and Administraion, Choi Yoon-hong, the Secretary-General, and Seo Yong-cheol, the Director of Industry-Academic Cooperation. On the 24th following the signing ceremony on this day, Pukyong National University will enter into activities to promote the College of Medical Radiology, including a joint MOU with Busan City and Gijang-gun at the Busan City Hall. Meanwhile, Pukyong National University recently held a TF and a working committee to establish a College of Medical Radiology and it has decided on a step-by-step plan to establish a fusion and convergence complex campus of over 231,404.959m2, including the College of Medical Radiology in the Medical Science Complex by 2030, including the establishment of the College of Medical Radiology by 2022. <Pukyong Today> |
