Pukyong National University (President Kim Young-seup) attracts public attention by reducing the rent for companies on the campus who are having difficulty in management due to the spread of COVID-19

Pukyong National University announced that it will reduce rent fee by up to 80% by the end of this year for 126 companies that have been housed within the campus.

The companies eligible for the rent reduction are 126 companies, including 72 companies in the Business Incubation Center and 54 companies in Dragon Valley at the Yongdang Campus of Pukyong National University. The amount of reduction is 260 million won in total.

Pukyong National University's Business Incubation Center is an organization that supports prospective entrepreneurs and embryonic start-ups. The Business Incubation Center decided to provide 144 million won, which is 80% of the rent from April to December, for 72 companies on the campus.

The Business Incubation Center pays this amount as a management support fund in advance on the 12th so that the embryonic start-ups can quick fix their financial difficulties and employment shortages due to the spread of COVID-19.

Along with this, the Pukyong National University Dragon Valley Support Center also decided to reduce the monthly occupancy management fee from April to December for the companies on Dragon valley.

In the Dragon Valley of Pukyong National University, there are companies that have entered into industry-academic cooperation partnerships and are preparing to take a leap forward as small giants. Due to the reduction in occupants pay, 54 companies that have moved into the Dragon Valley will receive a total reduction of 80 million won.

Pukyong National University opened the Yongdang campus, designated as the only new technology start-up area in the southeastern area and the Busan R&D zone, among the two campuses in Daeyeon and Yongdang, and established and operates it as a new industry-academic cooperation and start-up specialization campus. <Pukyong Today>
