Prof. Woo Hee-cheol, won the Achievement award and Yeosan Catalyst Academic Award from the Korean Institute of Chemical Engineers
The Korean Institute of Chemical Engineers (KICHE) is an academic organization representing the academic and industrial fields of chemical engineering in Korea and is one of the largest academic organizations in Korea. Professor Woo had served as the 45th Vice President of the Regional Affairs and received the Achievement Award in recognition of making a great contribution to the globalization of the society, establishing the foundation for academic and personal exchange with the Henan Institute of Science and Technology (HIST) in China. In addition, Professor Woo was selected as the winner of the Yeosan Catalyst Academic Award for contributing greatly to the academic development of Korea's catalytic field and the enhancement of its international status, such as publishing excellent papers in the field of catalyst and chemical reaction engineering nationally and internationally. Professor Woo is currently the head chief of the Pukyong National University's Energy Human Resources Development Group, contributing greatly to fostering skilled manpower in the energy field. |
