On 3rd, November, Mr. Jang Jae-soo, Chairman of Honglim Fisheries & Refrigeration Co., Ltd. (Age 85), donated 100 million won for development funds to Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-soo).

On the morning of that day, Chairman Jang visited the president's office located on the 3rd floor of the University Headquarters at Pukyong National University and delivered 100 million won to President Jang Young-soo to use it for the development of the university.

Mr. Jang is a person who has contributed to the modernization of fisheries logistics and was the 1st generation head honcho in the fisheries who led the development of the fishery management field in Korea, receiving the Minister of Oceans and Fisheries Award in 2005.

Mr. Jang enunciated about his donation, "I hope that this fund contributes to the development of Pukyong National University, which is the cradle of education and research in the fishery field. I will continue to pay attention to the development and strive to support Pukyong National University.

Pukyong National University plans to use this development fund for the development of the university, such as nurturing excellent talents, supporting research, and improving university facilities. <Pukyong Today>
