Lee Hun-Gu, a former professor of PKNU, donated 100 million won for academic development

Lee Hun-Gu, a former professor at Pukyong National University, visited the president's office on the 5th floor of the administration building at Pukyong National University on the afternoon of May 18 and delivered 100 million won to the president Jang Young-Soo asking him to use it for academic development.

Professor Lee had served as a professor in the Department of Microbiology at the College of Natural Sciences at Pukyong National University since 1987, and then retired in 2012.

"The warm heart of the senior professor is an inspiration to all of us. The junior professors who succeeded him will emulate the virtuous actions of him and will work hard so that Pukyong National University can develop into a proud university," President Jang Young-Soo said.

Pukyong National University plans to use this development fund for university development, including education and research supports, and improvement of the educational environment. <Pukyong Today>
