PKNU, got the taste of victory in the Busan IP Job Placement Training Camp 2021

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) students won the grand prize at the Busan IP Job Placement Training Camp, hosted by the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), Busan Metropolitan City, Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA), and Pukyong National University, Dongseo University, Kyungnam College of Information & Technology, and the Regional Intellectual Property Center (RIPC).

Seo Yun-kyoung (3rd year) of Pukyong National University's Department of Chemistry and Shim I-Kang (3rd year), a student from the Food Science & Technology, recently won the top prize with excellent results in the mock interview of the job training camp held at the Hotel Fairfield by Marriott, Busan Songdo Beach.

This event includes Pukyong National University, with 30 students participating in Busan regional universities such as Dongseo University and Kyungnam College of Information & Technology, it was conducted in the form of an intellectual property training and employment strategy education followed by a final mock interview.

Pukyong National University students earned recognition for their excellent interview skills such as knowledge and goal setting in the field of intellectual property at this job training camp, which was held to promote the recruitment of intellectual property experts by strengthening the networking and interviewing skills that IP experts should have.

In this camp, employment strategy education including job introduction in the IP field, special lecture on successful employment cases of graduates, IP rights creation education, employment aptitude test and consulting, intellectual property education, NCS-based resume and self-introduction consulting, interview speech skills, image making and personal were provided, followed by a mock interview.

Pukyong National University, after being selected as the operational university for the IP regional talent nurturing project last year, participated in this camp as a part of the employment-linked IP regional talent nurturing project group (Director Yang Ji-Young, Professor, Food Science and Technology) and attained excellent results. <Pukyong Today>
