Response team's bustle of daily life in quarantine for incoming international students

A special response team from the Office of International Affairs of Pukyong National University (Director Yoon-Il) which quarantines incoming international students, has been busy with quarantine tasks for foreign students who arrived in the first semester of the 2022 academic year.

The response team picked up international students from Gimhae Airport on February 10 and took them to the student dormitory, where quarantines have been setup.

When a foreign student enters the country, the response team picks up the foreign student who arrived at the airport by car, goes to Busan Station, examines COVID-19 test, and then moves to the student dormitory.

Foreign students who enter the student dormitory after going through the admission procedure are subject to mandatory self-quarantine for 7 days, then undergo a re-test for the coronavirus before the quarantine ends.

The response team conducts daily monitoring of international students in quarantine, and employees in protective suits delivers lunches individually. The period for the special response team to quarantine foreign students entering the country is from February 4 to 17.

Meanwhile, Pukyong National University operates a support team for Back-to-Normal (former emergency response team) along with the response team for quarantine on incoming international students and is carrying out rapid and thorough response activities according to quarantine measures to block and minimize the corona infection. <Pukyong Today>
