Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) held the launching ceremony for the 2nd young trade expert incubating program on January 16th in a lecture room at the college of humanities and social science building.
This project was first launched last year by the division of international commerce (dean Bae Joon-Young) of Pukyong National University as one of the government's university innovation support projects to foster young trade professionals who will play an active role as a university student trade support group in Busan along with the Busan economic promotion agency.
Starting with the launching ceremony, 25 students from the division of international commerce at Pukyong National University, who were selected as the 2nd-term members of young trade expert incubating program, will participate in trade fairs throughout the year and start activities for the Busan university students trade support group through practical training on overseas export marketing.
The 1st young trade expert incubating program was launched in July of last year and carried out activities to build a platform for coexistence between companies, local governments, and universities in Busan.
The division of international commerce in Pukyong National University plans to expand support for activities of the 2nd Young trade expert incubating program with experts including professors Ahn Tae-Gun, Lee Dong-Joo, and Yoo Jeong-Ho, while providing trade support for Busan local companies recruited by the Busan economic promotion agency’s export one-stop center, and international exchanges such as overseas fairs. <Pukyong Today>
