Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) received grade 1, the highest grade, in the comprehensive integrity index of public organizations in 2022.
Last year, the Anti-corruption and civil rights commission conducted a comprehensive integrity investigation on a total of 569 institutions, including national and public universities, domestic administrative agencies, public service-related organizations, and public medical, and health services announced the results on January 26th.
In this evaluation, out of 33 national and public universities in Korea, 4 including Pukyong National University, UNIST, Chungbuk national university, and Korea national university of transportation received grade 1.
The overall integrity score that Pukyong National University received was 83.5 points, it is 8.3 points higher than the average score of national and public universities (75.2).

Following the acquisition of the 2nd grade in the comprehensive integrity evaluation in 2020, Pukyong National University plans to continue its efforts to spread the anti-corruption culture and will to society while receiving an excellent evaluation this time.
This evaluation was conducted by adding the ‘integrity perception level', which is the result of a survey of public officials and citizens, and the ‘integrity effort level', which evaluates the institution's efforts for anti-corruption, and then deducting points from the ‘state of corruption’ evaluation, which is the status of corruption incidents at the institution. <Pukyong Today>
