A student team from Pukyong National University and Pusan national university jointly won the grand prize at the 'Global youth climate hope challenge' hosted by Busan city.

The student team of Kim Do-Hoon, Park Mi-So, and Park Hyun-Ah from Pukyong National University, and Park Min-Ki and Kim Hyun-Jin from Pusan national university received the highest evaluation among 14 teams from 12 countries that made it to the finals in this challenge held recently at the Green Narae hotel in Haeundae as the 10th international conference event to host the World Expo 2023 Busan.

The student team of Pukyong National University and Pusan national university presented an eco-friendly practice plan for universities in the Busan area called 'Green campus: Y-eco friend card' and received an evaluation from the evaluation group that the concreteness of the eco-friendly idea and implementation plan were suitable for university students who will lead the future generation.

Their idea was to present an 'eco friend card' with the motif of Dongbaekjeon, a local currency by Busan city.
