PKNU held a unique expo to help students make 200% use of the university

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) held the 'campus life design expo 2023' on November 1 on the first floor of the Dongwon Jang Bogo hall to help students make 200% use of the university.

Pukyong National University prepared this event to introduce university students to Pukyong National University's various support programs, departments, and facilities for campus life, learning, career paths, and majors, and to provide information on how to utilize them.

The purpose is to increase satisfaction with university and help plan career paths for first and second-year students who are adjusting to campus life, as well as students who have become unfamiliar with the campus due to COVID-19.

Pukyong National University operated a total of 33 booths at the event venue, divided into four sections: university life, support for learning, career exploration, and major design, centered around the undergraduate university support office.

With over 500 students visiting on this day, the campus life section provided introduction and consultation on scholarship systems, welfare facilities, dormitories, international exchange programs, and ROTC, while the learning support section displayed and introduced learning consulting and support programs, as well as popular liberal arts subjects.

The career exploration section provided information on various counseling programs, career support and field training programs, and the University job plus center, and the major design section provided introductions to majors, minors, double majors, micromajors (24), and student-designed majors (31), as well as major experience.

Oh Chang-Ho, dean of undergraduate college at Pukyong National University, said, "We hope that this expo will be an opportunity to support the design of university life and career exploration so that students can experience it through organic connection between relevant departments that support students at the university." <Pukyong Today>
