PKNU held the 'PKNU career & job fair 2023'

- 40 companies, including large corporations and public institutions, participated for university students and local youth

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) held the '2023 career and job fair 2023' at a gymnasium in Daeyeon campus on the afternoon of November 1 to mark the start of the second half recruitment season.

This expo was organized into four centers: company, incumbents, public relations, and events, with 40 organizations including large corporations, mid-sized companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, public institutions, financial institutions, and research institutes participating.

Pukyong National University expanded the scope of participation in the fair to include not only Pukyong National University students, but also unemployed graduates and local youth, and on-site registration was also held on the same day along with advance application for participation.

At the booths in the company center participated by Samsung heavy industries, Kumyang, Korea investment & securities, SK ocean plant, Korea kongsberg maritime, Yoolim special chemicals, and Busan transportation corporation, on-site interviews with company personnel managers and guidance on the recruitment information and ideal talent were provided.

In particular, a booth for incumbents where they could get information about their job preparation process and job was also provided on this day. Twenty people from the 'Pukyong career mentor group', who graduated from Pukyong National University and are working at large companies or public institutions, attracted peoples' attention by providing individual counseling and consulting at each booth.

A public relations center that operated promotional booths for supporting departments through organizations related to the Busan regional office of employment and labor, the university job plus center on campus, the LINC3.0 business group, the R-WiSET Dongnam, and the shared AI-robotics education group, also a public relations center that operates promotional booths for supporting departments, and an event center that provides image consulting booths and food trucks.
