PKNU received the minister prize in both public and private categories at the 'Korea tech fair BM contest'
- took first place in a competition contested by 11 graduate schools of management of technology nationwide

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) announced that the master's and doctoral students in the graduate school of management of technology took first place in both public and private technology fields at the 'Korea tech fair BM contest' and received the minister prize from the Ministry of trade, industry, and energy.
The BM competition is one of the main events of the Korea technology commercialization contest hosted by the Ministry of trade, industry and energy and organized by the Korea institute for advancement of technology for college (graduate) students in the field of technology management to design and present business models using technology.
The team Pukyong ST solution (Han Dae-Hong, Jang Bong-Gyu, Kim Yeon-Soo, Jo Ye-Jin, advisor Cheon Dong-Pil, Lee Min-Gyu), which ranked first place in the public technology field, announced a comprehensive landslide management system based on image deep learning technology that can detect surface displacement.
The team leader Han Dae-Hong said, "If we use ultra-advanced image deep learning technology to identify the precursor symptoms of landslides and precisely detect changes in the surface layer to address the problem of damage caused by heavy rainfall or landslides, which has recently been on the rise, we can minimize human casualties and reduce disaster prevention costs and social overhead costs."
The Skin MBTI team (Kang Yong-Woong, Seo Seong-Yil, Jeong Yeon-Soo, Kim Eun-Young, advisor Lee Woon-Sik), which took first place in the private technology field, presented a plan for technology commercialization using an automatic customized cosmetics mixing system.
Team leader Kang Yong-Woong said, "By developing an automatic cosmetic mixing machine that can ensure safety, stability, and hygiene, we can satisfy the growing demand for personalized cosmetics and lead the related market."
Lee Woon-Sik, director of Pukyong National University graduate school of management of technology, said, "I believe that the fact that we took first place in each field of this competition, in which 11 graduate schools of technology management in Korea participated, is the result of our intense consideration and effort in the field of technology management.
