PKNU alumni association donated 466 million won to alma mater

Pukyong National University alumni association (chairperson Seo Young-Ok) donated 466 million won in development funds to the alma mater, which is celebrating its centennial of the founding.

On May 9th, Seo Young-Ok, chairperson of the alumni association, presented a development fund to President Jang Young-Soo during the 'Pukyong one-mind concert' event held at the Pukyong National University theater as part of the Homecoming Day event, expressing their support for the advancement of the alma mater.

Seo Young-Ok, chairperson of the alumni association, said, "This year, to commemorate and celebrate the 100th anniversary of our alma mater's founding, our alumni have come together with one heart. We support our alma mater's greater growth, development, and leap as a global university in the world."

Prior to the Homecoming Day event, Pukyong National University held a ceremony commemorating its centennial and Daedong-je, a spring festival, and is holding various events to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding, such as an open campus, international forum, and literary festival during May.

Pukyong National University is continuing its support programs for university development in celebration of its centennial this year, with ongoing donations including 'New-Turn 100 fundraising' and small-scale donation campaigns for the advancement of the university. <Pukyong Today>
