PKNU Dream Job Fair Attracts Large Turnout

Pukyong National University (President Bae Sang-Hoon) hosted a large-scale job fair titled ‘PKNU DREAM JOB FAIR’ on September 10 (Wednesday) and 11 (Thursday), coinciding with the peak of the fall job hunting season. The event was open to young job seekers in the region.
It was held over two days at the PKNU Convention Hall and Dongwon Jangbogo Hall, the fair brought together 56 companies, including major corporations, public enterprises, and government agencies.
This event was designed to provide not only PKNU students and alumni but also local youth with direct access to employment information and face-to-face opportunities with corporate HR representatives, helping them better prepare for their careers.
This job fair was held over two days at the PKNU Convention Hall and Dongwon Jangbogo Hall, with participation from 56 companies including major corporations, public enterprises, and government agencies.

Pukyong National University operated over 60 booths at the fair, including company booths, alumni mentoring booths, and career counseling and promotional booths, with participation from 56 companies.
At the Pukyong Convention Hall, company and alumni mentoring booths were set up and operated, where HR managers from each company and current employees who are PKNU alumni provided recruitment consultations, company introductions, and job mentoring sessions.
At the Dongwon Jang Bogo Hall, recruitment information sessions were held by companies such as HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, Busan Bank, Hwaseung Corporation, Busan Port Authority, Lotte Chemical, Korea Zinc, Busan Transportation Corporation, and Dongwon Industries. Special lectures were also delivered by current employees from LS ELECTRIC, IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, and Seoyon E-Hwa.
In addition, various events were organized, including job market trend seminars, mock interviews, career aptitude tests, career and employment counseling for international students, professional ID photo services for job applications, personal color analysis, and AI-powered digital business card creation. <Pukyong Today>
