Park Se-ho, Chairman of Wooju Gaspack Industries Co., Ltd., Donates 200 million Won to His Alma Mater, Pukyong National University
-Ceremony held at Pukyong National University President’s Office on the 15th
On January 15, Park Se-ho, Chairman of Wooju Gas Pack Industrial Co., Ltd., generously donated 200 million KRW to his alma mater, Pukyong National University (President Bae Sang-hoon).
Chairman Park Se-ho visited the President’s office on the third floor of the university’s main building and presented the donation to President Bae.
Chairman Park Se-ho remarked, “As a local company in the Busan region, I have come to realize how important it is to nurture talented individuals who will settle and contribute to the region. I hope this contribution helps my alma mater, which is playing a key role in cultivating outstanding local talent, grow and continue to develop.”
Park Se-ho, a 2005 alumnus of the Graduate School of Business Administration at Pukyong National University, had previously donated 100 million KRW to his alma mater in 2022 and has been actively supporting the university’s development in various ways.
In recognition of his efforts in leading Korea’s gasket, packing, and seal industries while building a company with international quality competitiveness, contributing to the development of the nation’s industry, Pukyong National University awarded him the 17th Proud Pukyong Person Award in the same year.
Park Se-ho has also been elected as the 15th President of the Pukyong National University Alumni Association and will continue to contribute to the alumni and his alma mater from this year until next year.
Pukyong National University plans to use the donation from Park Se-ho for initiatives to cultivate outstanding talent who will thrive locally, nationally, and globally, and for the university’s efforts to develop into a global institution. <Pukyong Today>
