Pukyong National University held the entrance ceremony for the 2019 school year on March 4th.

Including 483 foreign students, a total of 3559 domestic and foreign freshmen, entered Pukyong National University (President Kim Young-seup).

Pukyong National University hosted the entrance ceremony for the 2019 school year at the gymnasium on the 4th, attended by guests, parents, and other guests such as the vice-chairman of the Moon Gi-cheol of alumni association and Jin Gil-ho, alumni chairman of AMP.

On this day, there are 27 students from the Division of Undeclared and Exploratory Majors, 714 students from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, 286 students from the Natural Science College, 264 from the College of Business Administration, 1448 from the Engineering College, 363 from the Fisheries Science College, 298 from Environmental and Marine Sciences Technology, and 159 from Future Convergence, total 3,559 new students entered Pukyong National University.

Among them, 483 foreign students are from 36 countries in the world. As of October last year, 1,571 foreign students from 72 countries are currently standing Pukyong National University.

Han Seong-min and Oh Min-jeong who entered university at the top of Department of Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineering and Jo Min-young at the department of Biomedical Engineering, received a scholarship certificate of 1.5 million won each semester and a scholarship of 1 million won each semester.

At the same time, Yoon Seong-il of the College of Economics and other 19 student who took the top at each college, received a total of 4 years of exemption from tuition and a scholarship of 1 million won for the first semester and 500,000 won each semester.

The university president Kim Young-seup told freshmen on the day, "The most important thing for a person who starts a new start line is the goal. You should constantly ask what value you will give to your life in the future and find the answer to that question."
