Pukyong National University (President Kim Young-seup) held a graduation ceremony of August 2019 in the conference room on the 2nd floor of the Administration building on August 23.

Pukyong National University gave the degree to 1478 students including 1115 bachelors, 291 masters, and 72 doctors, with attendees, graduates, and parents including President Kim Young-seup, the former President Jang Seon-deok, Chairman of Alumni association Chung Yong-pyo, Chairman of AMP Alumni association Jin Gil-ho.

Park Soo-jeong (Department of Marine business and Economics), who was an excellent student with her ability to make good grades and creativity, was selected as an excellent grader and received the President's Award.

In addition, Ha Cheon-soo (Department of Korean Language and Literature), Kim Dong-Hyun (Department of Chemistry), Park Ba-Ri (Department of International Trade and Commerce), Park Bae-ri (Division of International Commerce), Park Han-sol (Department of Display Engineering), Lee Hyun-Woo (Department of Graphic Arts Information Engineering), Kang Seong-min (Department of IT Convergence and Application Engineering), Lee Jin-young (Department of Marine Production System Management), Shim Eun-seop (Combined Department of Environmental Engineering), and Lee Ji-hyun (Division of Undeclared and Exploratory Majors) received the President's Award. Hwang Sang-hwan (Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Systems Engineering).

The President Kim Young-seup, through the ceremony of conferment on the day, “In spite of many difficulties, you have developed a high intellectual capacity in our university. Based on our intellectual competence, I hope you to be a practical intellectual who does meaningful work for the world as well as for your happiness."

Mr. Kim said, “Please bear in mind the meaning of the wisdom of mankind within yourself, and that you are a very precious self who must pass it on to the next generation.
