PKNU has been selected as a high school education contributing university for six straight years. Pukyong National University (President Kim Young-seup) has been selected for the Ministry of Education's High School Education Contributing University Support Project for the sixth year in a row. Pukyong National University was selected in the Type I category with no restrictions on eligibility as a result of the evaluation conducted by the Ministry of Education announced on the 29th. The high school education contributing university support project is a project to support universities to strengthen the fairness of the admission process, to strengthen high school education and to increase social responsibility. As the university has been selected for the project, Pukyong National University will receive support for the project cost of 937 million won this year, and will promote a college entrance examination program, a high school-university link program, and a follow-up service program. Pukyong National University plans to abolish the self-introduction and interview test for the Student Admissions for 2022 school year, ease the minimum level of college entrance exam standards, expand regional talent selection, and expand the number of candidates for even opportunity selection. In order to secure the fairness of the admission process, a new verification team for the admission process has been newly established and the activities of the fairness monitoring team have been also expanded.
