It is heart-warming news that alumni of Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-soo) generously donated 10,000 pcs of face masks for the present students.

Hwang Tae-wook (age 40, Class of 02', Materials System Engineering), alumni of Pukyong National University, visited his alma mater on the afternoon of January 12 and delivered 10,000 pieces of facial masks to Choi Hee-rak, Office Director in Division of Industry University Cooperation.

Mr. Hwang said, "I decided to donate face masks to send a message of cheer up to the students who are struggling with the outbreak of Corona."

He said, "As alumni, I participated as a member of the Pukyong National University Council, my alma mater, and I was able to experience the reality of study and employment that university students are experiencing. I hope that the face mask will get rid of the pressures of their lives"

Pukyong National University plans to deliver the donated mask to all departments and departments to support students' courses, experiments, and practical training.

Prior to this face mask donation, Mr. Hwang, who has his own business, has been doing good deeds last month by donating 10,000 facial masks to Suyeong-gu, Busan, where his business is located, asking for use for the underprivileged.

Mr. Hwang said with smile, "Even for self-employed people, it is a really difficult time to go through, but I believe that if I do good things for others, good things will come my way, so I want to continue donating." <Pukyong Today>
