With this support, 36 international students from Myanmar, who are undergraduate students of Pukyong National University, will receive a full reduction of tuition for this semester, and will receive 1 million won per person as an emergency living expenses.
Pukyong National University, where a total of 69 Myanmar international students are enrolled, plans to provide 750,000 won per person as a special scholarship to support living expenses for graduate students, and provide full reduction of summer semester tuition to language trainees.
For the coming second semester, depending to the local situation in Myanmar, Pukyong National University plans to review the support plan for international students from Myanmar and the scale of that support.
In addition to financial support at this time, Pukyong National University is promoting various support programs, including providing opportunities for international students from Myanmar to participate in internship programs in cooperation with local farms.
