Under the supervision of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the University Job Plus Center is a project to install and support centers within universities to provide employment support services such as counseling, special lectures, and mentoring for the youth such as college students.
Pukyong National University was selected for the university job center project, the former of this project, in 2018 and has been operating the center. In addition, by being selected for this project, the university will receive 300 million won in support from the Ministry of Employment and Labor and local governments until February 2023.

Especially, the university plans to provide employment support services not only to current students, but also to the youth within two years after their graduation and local youth by greatly expanding the target of support, which was centered on current students.
To provide this service, Pukyong National University has operated a variety of customized support programs, such as special interview lectures, self-introduction lectures, one-on-one career counseling, job fairs, job training courses, and mentoring groups, based on the previous four years of operating the university job center to maximize the performance of employment support.
Kim Young-Mok, Director of the University Job Plus Center at Pukyong National University, said, "As a result of being selected for this project, our university will operate an employment support program that young people can experience, and as a specialized national university, our university will more actively perform the role of a control tower for career, employment, and start-up to increase the employment rate in the local community." <Pukyong Today>
