Are you looking for a space where you can record media by yourself?

The liberal art college of Pukyong National University (dean Chae Young-Hee) announced on the 5th that it would build and operate full-scale operation of 'college studio', a media recording space for single-person media creators.

Located in Room 208 on the 2nd floor of Dongwon Jang Bogo Hall, 'College Studio' consists of three small studios named Cheong, Hae, and Jin respectively. It can be used by all professors and students at Pukyong National University who want to record lecture videos, remote real-time lectures, and create personal SNS videos.

What are the main gears set up? The studio is equipped with a computer for video editing, a monitor with 30-inch display, a tablet monitor for writing (Wacom 22-inch), a DSLR camera for high-resolution video recording (Sony ZV-E10), and a standard digital (4K) webcam.

High-resolution condenser microphones (from AKG), alpha-mic lighting devices, and green screens for background transparency are also available. The booths are fully equipped with soundproofing and air conditioning facilities.

What do these gears do? Users can use these to record writing lectures, record lectures for individuals, record lectures for writing+individuals, record chroma-key lectures, and give real-time lectures.

What programs can we use? For your satisfactory video editing, the studio supports Microsoft's basic writing program (Whitescreen), as well as five specialized recording programs such as 'Everlec', Bandicam, Icannote, and Icanscreen

With Everlec, users can display PowerPoint data, Internet search boxes, and videos on the desktop and record while writing. It is possible to record videos using a chroma-key screen with Bandicam. With Icannote, users can record while writing on lecture materials such as Korean, PDF, PowerPoint, and picture files. With Icanscreen you can record the writing on the desktop.

One of the two monitors can be used as a prompter. In a real-time class, you can use the monitor by dividing it into a class screen and a student face screen.

Kim Jong-Ho, a team manager from the support office in college of liberal arts saids, "If you make a reservation through the academic administration system, you can use it according to your schedule, and helpers are helping so that anyone can use it easily." <Pukyong Today>
