PKNU held a matching job fair for Busan IT & SW companies and local talent

A job fair that connects IT and SW companies in the Southeast area such as Busan with local young talents is held and attracts the public attention.

 

Pukyong National University held the 'PKNU Smart & IT Job Fair 2022’ on the first floor of Dongwon Jang Bogo hall on the morning of June 30th.

As new industries such as IT and SW are expanding, this event is designed to provide high-quality local job information to students majoring in related fields and to provide local businesses with an opportunity to select outstanding talents needed for industrial sites.

 

29 IT and SW-related companies located in Busan and the southeast in Korea, such as BNK Busan bank, BNK system, Volvo group Korea, Hyundai heavy industries, Autonics, and Hwaseung corporation, participated and conducted company introductions and recruitment consultations at each booth on the day.


About 500 people from Pukyong National University, including students and graduates of IT and SW majors, and those who completed IT and SW-related programs such as the convergence SW talent nurturing course, participated in job search activities.


In this job fair, events such as special lectures on employment, employment counseling and mentoring were held for students who took the digital new technology employment-related course of Multicampus, a leading company in corporate IT job training.


Ryu Ji-Yeol, director of the LINC 3.0 project team at Pukyong National University, said, "Taking this job fair as an opportunity, I hope that students who are preparing for a job in a new industry will get information about companies that actually need talent, and that companies will have more opportunities to meet excellent local talents who are experienced in business."


The event was hosted by LINC 3.0 project team, Division of Student Competency Development, R-WeSET Southeast team, Shared AI-Robotics Education School, the Busan venture business association, Busan employees federation, Korea IT businesswomen association (KIBWA), Busan robot industry association in cooperation with others, Pukyong National University prepared this event. <Pukyong Today>
