On July 25, Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) and KAIST (president Lee Kwang-Hyung) signed an academic exchange agreement for mutual development.

 

President Jang Young-Soo and president Lee Kwang-Hyung signed an academic exchange agreement in the president's office in the main building of KAIST this afternoon, and decided to cooperate in exchanging and utilizing the excellent personnel and material infrastructure of both universities.

 

With this agreement as an opportunity, the two universities will have mutual exchanges between professors, research personnel, and students, operation of a joint curriculum and mutual credit transfer system, exchange of research and co-hosting of academic conferences, mutual library access, access to materials and use of facilities, exchange of research equipment, facility sharing, and plan to strive for cooperation in national projects to create a shared and cooperative ecosystem.


Based on their mutual exchanges, such as conducting joint research in various fields such as biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, robotics, marine and fisheries, and IT, Pukyong National University and KAIST comprehensively expanded the fields of exchange and cooperation for university development through this agreement.


Prior to this agreement, Pukyong National University signed agreements with major universities in metropolitan, such as Korea university, Seoul national university of science and technology, Yonsei university, and Hanyang university, as well as major universities on a national scale such as Geumo university of technology and Kyungpook national university (scheduled in August), and is expanding exchange and cooperation.
