Pukyong National University Accelerates the Establishment of ‘Glocal University 30’ Innovation Policies

Pukyong National University (President Bae Sang-hoon) is accelerating the development of innovative policies in preparation for next year’s application for the Glocal University 30 project.

On December 17th, Pukyong National University held the ‘University Innovation Policy Seminar for Sustainable Development’ in the conference room on the third floor of the university’s headquarters.

On this day, President Bae Sang-hoon, along with key officials from the university’s headquarters and relevant business researchers, gathered with about 30 participants to engage in discussions that included expert consultations. The topics covered included △sharing university policies in response to changes in the country, industry, and society, △identifying alternatives that can drive university innovation, and △discussing the direction for sustainable development of the university.

Pukyong National University plans to actively incorporate the key policies and initiatives discussed during the seminar, which was led by the Glocal Business Headquarters, into next year’s project proposals.

Additionally, Pukyong National University held the ‘Glocal University 30 Project Idea Contest’ from December 2nd to 16th, open to all members of the university.

A total of 26 proposal ideas were received for the contest, which called for innovative policies and tasks to promote the Glocal University 30 project. Pukyong National University plans to select the best proposals and incorporate them into next year’s Glocal Innovation Plan.
