2025 Pukyong National University New Year’s Ceremony Held

Pukyong National University (President Bae Sang-hoon) held its 2025 New Year’s ceremony on January 2 at the university’s main building conference room.

The event was attended by President Bae Sang-hoon, academic staff, professors, and employees. During the ceremony, various awards were presented, including the University Development Contribution Award, the Minister of Education’s Commendation, Outstanding Employee Awards, and recognition for exceptional employees from the security company.

In his New Year’s address, President Bae Sang-hoon stated, “The 8th presidential leadership has declared our university’s new vision, ‘Toward the Future, Dreaming Together!’ and has begun its journey of innovation. Throughout this year, we will lead knowledge innovation as a strong university, cooperate globally, and realize a future of unity.”

He further emphasized, “We must gather all our strength and determination. I believe in the capabilities of all our members who respect the values of infinite responsibility, sincerity, humility, and gratitude.”

To this end, he stated, “I will take the lead. As the 8th president of our university, I will set an example for change and innovation with the executive team. No matter the challenges we face, we will not avoid them, and we will pour our full efforts into what we must do, embracing unwavering innovation. This year will be the beginning of that great journey.”

After the ceremony, a New Year’s greeting event was held, where President Bae Sang-hoon, academic staff, and attendees shook hands and exchanged New Year’s greetings. <Pukyong Today>
