Research on fluorescence·luminescence chemical sensors with ’self-immolative’
Professor Lee Song-yi
Professor Lee Song-yi’s paper, ’Self-immolative colorimetric, fluorescent and chemiluminescent chemosensors’ was published as a cover paper in September 2018 for the Royal Society of Chemical (RSC)’s ’Chemical Society Reviews’ (IF = 40.182). This paper, in which Professor Lee participated as the lead author, introduces the recent research results of the promising research topic in the field of chemistry, ’Self-immolative,’ and suggests major utilization methods. ’Self-immolative’ is a molecule that combines with fluorescence and luminescence chemical sensor molecules such as rhodamine and coumarin, and increases the stability and reactivity of the sensor in such a way that the sensor comes off at the moment it meets a specific ion. In this paper, Professor Lee introduced ’Self-immolative’ into five categories by function. It includes bioimaging functions such as chemotherapy and enzyme activation, and detects fluorescence and luminescence, signal amplification functions, and so on. In addition, a new strategy for designing fluorescence and luminescence chemical sensors with ’Self-immolative’ and various reaction structures were proposed, including the characteristics of up to 49 fluorescent substances linked to the ’Self-immorative.’ <기사 보러가기(클릭!)>
