This division has the longest tradition of any at PKNU, and aims to manage the scientific production of marine resources and their use, while also nurturing professionals for employment as marine police on the Korean peninsula.
Major of Marine Production Science
The division’s Major of Marine Production Science with its long tradition at PKNU aims to nurture high-tech professionals who could contribute to the international development of fisheries by imparting professional knowledge to students for the production and appropriate use of marine resources and fishery administration.
Major of Marine Police Science
The Major of Marine Police Science aims to nurture professionals who can control and direct fishery administration and marine safety around the Korean peninsula by imparting professional knowledge of fishery administration and the work of safety together administrations to students while also providing a basic knowledge of the work that marine police perform.
Type of Certified Licenses
Mates grade 3 (fishing ships, merchant ships), fishing production managers, secondary teachers, grade 2 (fishery, marine), radio wave electronic communicators, grade 3, 4 (GOC, ROC), Craftsman Aides to navigation, and fishing industrial engineers.
